- Description
- In this short clip, you experience the sound of found materials in poor houses that became musical instruments and part of the blues development. In the background you hear a tune performed by professionals. The exhibit highlights the blues roots as poor person's music. The humblest materials (a washboard, chicken bones and spoons) became tools for creativity and art in the hands of musicians and those driven to create music.
